What happens to the ice placed outside and the ice placed by the radiator?
The children were keen to learn about the freezing process and how liquid takes the shape of the container it is poured into. We froze water in balloons, gloves and different shaped moulds. The children made predictions about what they thought would happen to the ice when placed in the two locations. They observed and handled the ice before discussing their conclusions with their friends.
" It's gone like water it's all melted now"
"It's gone to water because it's melted, it's hot in here"
"It's gone smaller"
"It's not gone yet it's cold outside"
