Information regarding how work will be set during this lockdown has now been sent to parents, this email includes your child’s login for Purple Mash where all of our home learning activities can be accessed. If you have any questions please respond to the email address associated with that email and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Children will be set a number of tasks each day and these will be located in the ‘2Do’ section of Purple Mash once children have logged in. Please ensure you ‘hand work in’ once it is complete so I can see it and give you feedback. Once the work is uploaded, it will stay on until the following Sunday, but try and do it on the day it is set or you will have a lot to do in a shorter space of time.
This is a really stressful time and as parents I understand that your time is taken up with working from home, home schooling and childcare so please don’t worry too much if all of the work is not completed, just try and do as much as you can in the time available to you – again any concerns please contact me on the ‘Year 3’ email I initially contacted you on.
I’ll also be updating this page with useful resources I come across that can be used in conjunction with our home learning.
Have fun learning and I will hopefully be seeing you very soon!

Here I will be posting a summary of your child’s learning on Purple Mash for the week ahead. In terms of the work, please complete what you can in the time you have available, there is no pressure to complete every single task, as long as children have a good go at the English and Maths activities daily, all other tasks can be completed as and when. Also, you may find it easier to compete some tasks on pen and paper – if this is the case, children can upload a picture of their completed work onto their Purple Mash by clicking the ‘upload’ button, this enables me to provide targeted feedback. If you are struggling with Purple Mash or have any other questions or issues please don’t hesitate to contact me on the ‘year 3’ email provided.
All home learning is set here, enter your child’s login details sent in the email.
