External Tournaments

Here at St.Cleopas we encourage our children to take part in competitive sports. We not only enjoy internal school tournaments but love testing ourselves against children from other schools. In the past two years we have competed in a range of sports from cross country to football and cricket.

All of our children go out to compete to the very best of their ability whilst having fun and making sure they represent the school in the best way possible. We ask our children to compete, enjoy themselves and respect their opponents and officials. We want the whole St Cleopas family to feel proud of our children when they wear the St. Cleopas badge in competition.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions we are not taking part in competitive sport at the moment but look forward to taking part when restrictions are lifted.

St Cleopas vs Holy Family - March 2019

Football's Coming Home.

Well it came to St Cleopas' new MUGA. Well done to all 33 girls from St Cleopas and Holy Family that took part in a fantastic first football tournament on the new MUGA. Each and every girl showed great skill and enthusiasm and the games were played in a friendly but competitive way.

St Cleopas managed to sneak a 1-0 win in the final but Holy Family loved the tournament so much that they asked for a rematch in a few week's time. We are all looking forward to Cleopas versus Holy Family Part Two.

Football Season 2018-2019

Children from year 5 and 6 began the new football season with a fantastic 1-0 win against St Silas. It was a close game and all the players performed brilliantly. They are all looking forward to their next game on Friday.
