What is the message of this proverb? Is this proverb still relevant today? What is wisdom?  Who gives us wisdom?

This phrase is called a proverb. What is a proverb? What is the message of this proverb? Do you agree with this proverb? Why? For whom would this be a good message? Christian Aid have used this proverb in their campaigns. Why do you think they chose this proverb?

Unit 5.3: Jesus The Teacher

Why did Jesus tell this story? What can we learn from this story? How does this story impact on the lives of believers?

The aim of this unit is to emphasize Jesus’ skills as a great teacher, to consider carefully the messages of the parables and how they influence the lives of practising Christians.

We used art to create imagery - we interpreted the parable of the Mustard Seed and used watercolours to represent what our Kingdom of God would look like for us.

Reflection: What would your Kingdom of God look like? What Christian Values would it represent for you?
