This half term we are learning about Easter and celebrating new life. We will be reflecting on the miracles of nature and new life during springtime and will begin to understand the resurrection. We hope you will enjoy seeing some of our activities.

This week we celebrated 

World Religion Day. We looked at the Christian Creation story and the Islamic Creation story. We had an amazing discussion about the similarities and differences and spoke about respect for others. Here are some of the questions that year 1A thought of:

"Who made God?" Bobby

"How did God make the world so fast?" Leia

"Did God make the world because He was lonely?" Josh

 

 

This term we are learning about Creation during R.E. We will be discussing how God made the world and everything in it.

This week we heard the story of Creation and then we created something of our own from play dough. We discussed how we felt about our creations. We were happy, excited and proud!
