Athletics

 

This term we working on our athletic skills. We begun with lomg jump, seeing how far we could jump with correct body posture and making sure we lean forward.

This week we are looking at how to develop our throwing skills. We used javelins to apply our learning and see just how far we can throw using good techniques.

We are exploring the elements of a triple jump. Using height in our hop, skip and jump to complete this jump.

This week we are focusing on good techniques we can use when completing different jumps. Thinking about body position, posture and height. We are using circuits to improve our technique.

Gymnastics

 

This half term in Gymnastics we are looking at body shapes. We begun looking at gymnastic shapes of tuck, straddle, pike, star and stretch.

Football

This term we are taking part in football sessions. Please ensure a PE kit (with long trousers/jumpers) and trainers are brought in each Tuesday.

Swimming

This term we are taking part in swimming sessions. Please ensure a costume/trunks and a towel is brought in each Thursday.
