Shapes are everywhere, and class 1a can identify different shapes in every day objects. The class created a tally chart with some 2D shapes. They then, had to go round the class and count the shapes they had found and compared them with their friends. Some children identified the clock and a circle, the interactive whiteboard was oblong and the tables were hexagon in shape. Here are some examples of their work.
Today we did some exercises and counted to 100 in 5s. Everyone joined in and we can count up to 100 in counts of 5.
